Soft Furnishings
Our Process.
-
Old Version:
We often get approached with very general information about window treatments. We begin the process by discussing the function and requirements of any window treatment along with fabric, trim and hardware options. We work alongside our client to best understand their creative vision. We encourage other inspirational ideas, no matter how far-fetched.
New Option:
We often get approached with broad ideas about window treatments, but we believe the magic happens when we dive deeper. We start by exploring the functional needs and specific requirements for each space, blending those with an extensive range of fabric, trim, and hardware options. But it doesn’t stop there – we collaborate closely with designers to truly understand their unique creative vision. We love to encourage even the wildest ideas, because we know that great design often thrives in the unexpected and the bold.
-
Old:
Once we have established a concept, we will work out quotes and offer various detail options based on the suited aesthetic of the space. Once a quote is finalized and approved, we fabricate samples and computer renderings to finalize the design concepts. As such, the project begins.
New Option:
After refining the concept, we provide detailed quotes and a range of tailored options. Once the quote is approved, we bring the vision to life with meticulously crafted samples and renderings. With every detail fine-tuned, the project moves from concept to reality.
-
Old:
Installation dates get finalized once all the materials have been received and inspected. Final check measures are done to confirm the details and finishes. All sewing and bespoke finishes are done in house by our master seamstresses.
New Option:
Once all materials arrive and pass a thorough inspection, we lock in the installation dates. Final check measures are done to confirm the details and finishes. From there, our master seamstresses meticulously craft each bespoke element in-house, ensuring precision, artistry, and an impeccable final touch.
-
Old Version:
Hardware is generally installed days to a week prior to the hanging of the window treatments. This allows us to trouble-shoot any issues with uneven floors or unforeseen issues. Window treatments are always hung by the seamstresses, steamed and dressed on site.
New Option:
Hardware is typically installed several days to a week before the window treatments, giving us time to address any unexpected challenges, such as uneven floors or structural quirks. When it’s time for the final reveal, our seamstresses personally hang, steam, and meticulously dress each treatment on-site.
